I'm baa-aaaaaack!!!

I am so sorry lah you guys!! I've been too lazy to update the blog...
First of all: Yes yes, Happy New Year!! Yah yah, but hey, better late than never, right?

Soooo.. some really quick updates!

December:
Ah, I sure missed Advent, julekalender, St. Lucia, julebord, julegrøt etc. But hey, I was at julebord (x-mas dinner) with some Norwegians that live in Taiwan. It was soooooo nice - we had all of the typical Norwegian christmas dishes and I got to speak lots and lots of Norwegian.

The highlight in December was definetly the trip to Hong Kong!!! Woohooo!! I went to HK right before x-mas with Jackie, Jen and Anita. We lived in Causeway Bay, which is kinda like the Grünerløkka of Oslo. Close to the city, lots of shopping and of course lots of FOOD! We were there for 5 days, and just enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. HK is an awesome harbour city. Lots of style and personality - oh and we didn't see any skimpy girls in way-too-short mini-skirts running around in heels they can't use. So yes, HK was surprisingly "European". Don't forget to take a look at the pictures in my photo album. The trip was great, we had lots of fun - crazy memories, haha. Thanks for trip girls!!

The christmas came along... Wow, I must admit that I was very weird to be away from home. We spent Christmas Day at Eiren's, just us classmates sitting around, playing cards, fighting over straws, eating lots of food and snacks.. And we saw Bridgets Jones' Diary - that's kinda christmassy, isn't it? Hehe, it was a very nice and chill day.
Then it was back to school the day after. Sigh.

NYE 2006.... Wow... It's like I've been in a time warp ever since coming here. It felt like time stood still, but then all of a sudden, it was the end of 2006. Wtf....! We had dinner at a nice Indian restaurant in Tienmu, and made our way down to Taipei city. The city always arrange a New Years party outside the Taipei City Hall, with lots of Taiwanese singers and celebs on the stage. The party is crazy. It lasted for 6 hours, with more than 1.2 million (!!!) people were in that area. The TCH is right next to Taipei 101, where they had the fireworks coming out from the entire building. But we didn't go there of course. It would be a nightmare to spend NYE in that area, haha. So we made a reservation at a lounge called VT Art Salon. Normally, it's a pretty chill lounge... but on NYE, it's was WEIRD. They had really trashy dancers/strippers/singers doing shows and it was really really bad. So we kinda escaped for a while, went to Jackie's to see the fireworks, wooo-wooo, that was fun.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Back to VT, luckily the show was over so it was like any other night out on town.

Spent New years day at Grandma's - perfect day, just relaxed, watched some dvds and ate a lot. Of course.

Life here is pretty much like any other places. We hang out, we go crazy at clubs, we eat, we drink, we laugh, we cry (well, maybe it's just me doing the crying), we are lazy and we have lots of fun. Mmm... It's like a really really long vacation. I can't believe that I've been here for 5 months already...
Miss you all so much - thanks for the phonecalls, msgs, emails, xmas cards etc - much appreciated!! It's good to know that you guys are doing well. Jobs, studies, bfs/gfs, new apartments etc. Yay, looking forward to see all the changes.

The weather all over the world is freaky... But I can't exactly complain, on saturday, it was a bit above 20C.. sunny and just lovely, so we just sat outside at a café the entire day. Mmm... We've had some earthquakes too, but nothing too serious. Even Norway had an earth earthquake?? But hey, atleast you guys have snow now!! Roll in the snow for me please!

Maya: Hope everything is good in France!
Tuva: Enjoy the summer in Aussie, hug some koalas for me too!
Pip: You rock KL lah!

Okay, time for me to go.... Tata for now, talk to you soon! Miss and love u guys!
